Covers: World Cup Football Art from Brazil, 1998

These 6 covers feature a complete set of Brazilian stamps that commemorate the France 98 World Cup Finals through art.

Each stamp features a work of art by a Brazilian artist, inspired by Brazilian football (soccer). In 1998, Brazil reached final of the World Cup. Their opponents were France, the host country. Sadly for Brazil, they were defeated 3-0, and France took their first World Cup title on home soil. Click here for the tournament details.

Several stamps make up the postage on these covers, but the football art stamps are the strip of 4 in the upper-right corner of each cover.
